Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Last Updated: April 17, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules regarding what can and cannot be hosted on Blamdom infrastructure. We utilize a "Balanced and Strict" enforcement model: minor infractions may receive a warning, while severe violations or resource abuse will result in immediate, automated suspension to protect our network.
1. Prohibited Content and Activities
The following are strictly prohibited on all Blamdom servers. Detection will result in immediate termination:
- Adult Content: Hosting, distributing, or linking to pornographic or adult material is strictly prohibited on our web hosting and servers.
- Cryptocurrency Mining: The mining of any cryptocurrency (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero) is explicitly forbidden.
- Malicious Activity: Hosting malware, phishing sites, botnets, or participating in DDoS attacks.
- Illegal Material: Any content that violates United States or South Dakota state laws.
2. Network and Anonymization Services
- VPNs and Proxies: Running public or private Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) or proxies is prohibited by default. Exceptions may be granted for specific, legitimate business use cases, but this requires explicit, prior written approval from Blamdom support.
3. Resource Abuse (Strict Enforcement)
Our servers operate in a shared environment. No single user is permitted to monopolize CPU, RAM, or disk I/O to the detriment of other clients.
- Game Servers: Must be used exclusively for hosting the intended game. Using game server storage as a personal file repository or backup drive is prohibited.
- Auto-Suspension: Blamdom utilizes automated resource monitoring. If your service causes severe degradation to a host node through unoptimized code, intentional abuse, or malicious plugins, it will be auto-suspended immediately to protect other users.
4. Enforcement Actions
Blamdom reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may:
- Issue a formal warning and require immediate rectification.
- Automatically suspend the offending service.
- Permanently terminate the account without a refund and ban the user from future Blamdom services.
